Jess Glynne: Live in Copenhagen, DK

On the typical Danish rainy & cold Tuesday evening, a small dose of summer experience could be observed in one of the local clubs - Amager Bio – where Jess Glynne presented her music show: full of positive vibes for the fully sold out venue.

The evening started at 8 PM with a local raising artist called Drew. She entered the stage and singed few tracks for crowd slowly filling in the club. With a minimal setup – just her and a guitarist – Drew managed to provide a very intimate and cozy atmosphere just before the main act of the night.

Shortly after 9 PM the band and the choir entered the stage and the first beats of ‘Hold My Hand’ with Jess slowly entering the stage while singing first lines of the song. This is when the party has started. The venue was fully packed from the floor up to the balcony consisting mostly of the female fans. The show continued and Jess provided a lot of positive energy of her biggest hits one after one.

What I really appreciated was that she was accompanied by a really good musicians and amazing choir not like the most of the pop musicians now by dancers. As I have mentioned before - fans gathered in the club received all the biggest hits including ‘Thursday’ or ‘These Days’ - a song she recorded with Rudimental and Macklemore. Main part of the concert was closed with another big one ‘All I Am’. After very short break full band got back on stage to play two more songs as an encore – ‘Right Here’ and ‘I’ll Be There’.

To sum up – with her performance Jess Glynne brought a bit of warmth to Copenhagen. All during the show worked correctly, all the fans got what was expected and left the venue satisfied.
